On The Contrary
Nia, a studious goody-two-shoes, finds her life intertwined with the rebellious new kid Diana, inciting a short-term bond that leaves them both forever changed. I wrote, directed, produced, and edited this film as an independent passion project to convey the complicated nature yet the importance of female friendships. I brought in friends who loved acting, fashion, songwriting, composing, graphic design, and more to make this script a reality.

Youth On BLM
The Black Lives Matter Protest has been going on for years, and recently today's youth are some of the most involved participants. Youth on BLM interviews 6 high school-age students on The Black Lives Matter movement, providing a young perspective on what BLM is, what it's trying to achieve, and how one can help. This film was entirely created in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic and footage was filmed entirely through video calls and shared home media. I was aiming to give a youth perspective on The Black Lives Matter Protest. I spent many months on this film, going through 10+ hours of footage and interviews. I hope everyone no matter their opinion can take something away from this film.

The Politics In Loudoun County's Education
A documentary detailing the recent political changes in Virginia and their effect on Loudoun County's Education system, while bringing to light the voices of Loudoun County students whose opinions often get ignored. I created this documentary as a piece of Global Activism for my school. I reached out to and spoke with four local journalists who cover education in order to accurately tell this story.

Stalked
Spam calls are normal? Right? Except when they're oddly specific and a little bit creepy... Created in a trio for Tryka Film Coalition's Halloween trailer competition.

Pressure
This music video/experimental short shows a young girl who feels forced and pushed into one direction by a ghost but also feels lonely and alone without that pressure. The story tells a larger story of society about people who feel trapped by pressure but also feel unsure without it, but the story is open to interpretation based on one's personal experiences with pressure. The music is a classical, student-composed piece with a fast-paced tune and a balance of different instruments. I came up with the concept by listening to the music on repeat until I felt a certain emotion, which I then tried to convey through video.

Express Your Voice
This PSA film showcases young girls expressing their voices and causes through different art forms they are passionate about. In this film, I gathered girls whom all have strong beliefs and use a variety of different art forms and passions in order to express it. Through this, I hope to encourage other girls to express their voice by any means of expression, and I hope this film shows them the variety of ways they can advocate for their beliefs.
